"It's not always rainbows and butterflies"

I always love the scent of Harajuku station platform especially after raindrops have gone through washing the air. It's a flavour that blown from Yoyogi Koen..a freshness that reminds me of those days when I was strolling down the pedestrian around Dago area in Bandung ..and also those short summer days I spent in a small town near Sydney long long time ago. Yeah, man..Winter is almost over and Spring, the best of four, seems ready to bloom her colors. "It's been a while, my soul..since the last time we had our intimate time together.."

"Speaking about color, what kind of color that can be seen globally, regardless whatever season, now?" I asked myself quietly while staring at those sakura trees across the station. "Hmm..should I say a series of "red".."pale".. and "green"? Red..as people get angry about all the unfairness, all the mumbo jumbo that saying they're part of the cause of soon-to-be global recession while as the matter of fact they are the ones who're going to sleep in tents for only God knows how long. Pale...hmm..maybe that should be the color of some MD faces in Bear Stearns turned to be when they knew that their Restricted Equity Options have become only hundred thousand dollars while not so long ago it was millions of dollars? And..how about green? Well..well..perhaps..green is the theme color of those commodities traders in New York (though they have to keep up pumping their trades as their real profits been deterioarating by the currency pressure)."

Then, I remember about a journal that one of hip-hop gods in Jakarta wrote sometime ago.

"It's a rainy February. Every night this city got washed but still smells as stink as the night before.

The good looking people with their best dresses and suits, all perfumed, packed in every clubs, laughing, smiling, flirting, flocking in circles, watching for any carcass to feed on.

The scavengers with american cigarettes breath, sweet chardonnay tasting lips, and fast cutting tounges covered with bad smelling salivas that pours out of their swollen gingivitis gums.

Sometimes they will come to you, smiling while measuring your height and weight just by looking at you. But most of the times they'll be sniffing like dogs, trying to figure out which should be your weakest side and which part is the more tasty and most usable of you.

The city will always stink. It's filled too much with rotten left-over corpses and scavenging vultures. And me? Oh, please don't mind me..I'm just a tiny little maggot."

"You got it there, son. Yes, day time..night time..life is full of colors..but definitely it's not all about rainbows and butterflies."

Read you brother's blog for many times, but I didn't know that Rudi has a sibling in Tokyo. It's nice to know you with such a smart contents blog, though financial market is not my department. LOL.
